Black coffee from South Africa is the winner of these years   Best International Act – Africa Award, in the BET Awards that are currently taking place in Los Angeles, in USA.

Black Coffee is the first South African artist to win an award in this category. He had been nominated alongside other African musicians Wizkid, Yemi Alade, AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Diamond Platnumz, MzVee, and Serge Beynaud.

Black Coffee emerged as the winner at the 2016 BET Awards currently taking place in Los Angeles, becoming the first South African to win an award in that category.

Wizkid, Yemi Alade, AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Diamond Platnumz, MzVee, and Serge Beynaud, all nominated for the Best International Act Africa Award, have lost to south African star, Black Coffee.

Black coffee came dressed a dapper green suit, sending his gratitude to his fans who voted to ensure he emerges as the winner.

The producer and DJ now join other Africans from Nigeria that’s Falz the Bahd who as won the BET Awards of Viewer’s Choice Best International Act Award.

The lovers of black coffee have taken to social media to congratulate him over his victory at BET Awards.
