After successfully creating a name for her self in the media industry Sophie Ikenye is among the top TV personalities of all time enjoying the environments of the leading media house in the world BBC.

Sophie Ikenye who hosts a programme on BBC titled Focus on Africa has been named in the inaugural list of 100 Most Influential Young Africans.

Ikenye who happens to be an alumni of the famous media school; Kenya Institute of Mass Communication is scaling high yet again due to her unique personality when it comes to TV.

According to the list released by the Africa Youth Awards which is one of the biggest honor for young achievers Sophie Ikenye has been named alongside other  famous names in different sectors.

The list is a representation of over 140 countries, with 27 being African countries tenders to honor the contribution of different personalities who are below the age of 40 years.

Also in the list is Johnson Sakaja who happens to be the chairman of TNA; a political party in Kenya. Sakaja is recognized for his dedication of helping  youths in the entrepreneurship world  and making sure they can stand by themselves.

Other Kenyans on the list include Acterss Lupita Nyongo,Nominated Mp Johnson Sakaja, Eunice Jepkoech Sum , Erick Kinoti and Jamila Abass.

East African King Diamond Platnumz and Ann kansiime are also on the list.
