OCTO’S REFUGEENIUS ALBUM DROPS THE TENTH SONG AND IT HOOT

The tenth song out of OCTOPIZZO Album ‘REFUGEENIUS’ dropped today the 31st of January 2017 proofing the success of Octo’s alblum that is so far doing well on the market.
The song titled” I’M SORRY” was composed and recorded by two artists residing in Dadaad refugee camps, the artists –Ismael Ilmi Abdille and Mohammed Abdikadir Yusuf, both from Somalia are among the other artists from the camps who participated in the project that seen the release of the album ‘REFUGEENIUS’ that was launched on December 3rd 2016 at prestige plaza.
I’M SORRY is a love song narrating the tale of boy who had his heart broken and he is trying to reach out to his lost love, he apologizes and asks for a second chance from her.
The music selection, recording and video shoots was successful by the help of The United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees who were funded the project ‘Artists For Refugees’ and implemented by The Danish Refugee Council, OCTOPIZZO being the ambassador.
“We are not in a position in which we have nothing to work with; We already have capacities, talents, direction, missions, callings, a gentle self-reminder to stand up & I speak up for your ideals. Silence is an opinion”.
OCTOPIZZO aka HENRY OHANGA is a hip hopper by birth. He attended primary and secondary school in Kibera as well as St. Mary’s Changamwe College in Mombasa, before coming back to Nairobi to get down with the microphone.
He is one of the people who have been offering support to upcoming talents in the country hence the birth of Album REFUGEENIUS.
